  • Shift: 24-hour shifts + in-house on-call
  • Hours/Week: Approx. 7.5 shifts/month (2160 hours/year)

  • Licensure/Certs: BC/BE Neonatologist; NV medical license preferred or must be eligible
  • Experience: Open to experienced providers and new graduates through 2025

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive neonatal intensive care to premature and critically ill newborns
  • Manage services in Level-III NICUs across multiple hospitals
  • Perform procedures such as high-frequency ventilation, total body cooling, and inhaled nitric oxide
  • Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams
  • Rotate between four area hospitals, spending one month at each location
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement and clinical research initiatives

What You Need

Required:

  • Board Certified or Eligible Neonatologist (BC/BE)
  • Eligible or licensed to practice in Nevada
  • Experience working in NICUs (experience preferred but new graduates considered)
  • Ability to work 24-hour shifts and rotate locations

Preferred:

  • Experience with high-frequency ventilation and neonatal procedures
  • Ability to adapt to multiple hospital settings
