Training Policy and Programs Analyst, MidThe Opportunity:As a Defense Mission Professional, you will serve as part of the team enabling Joint Training in the Department of War (DoW). You will assist and advise the Joint Staff regarding policy and statutory reporting requirements linked to Joint training and exercises. Analysis may entail data collection employing a variety of techniques including Action Officer and Planner-level working groups, data mining, multi-source research, face-to-face interviews, and other survey or collaborative means. Training information from Combatant Commands and Services will be compiled into reports for senior DoW leadership and Congress. Within the process, you'll ask and answer requests regarding joint and combined training activities. Senior-level communication skills are important as you will routinely develop, coordinate, and deliver documents and briefs to Joint Force leaders.Join us. The world can’t wait.You Have:  3+ years of experience with the Department of War, military Services, or Joint StaffExperience with collecting data, analytical analysis and determining courses of actionKnowledge of Department of Defense organizational structure, doctrine and terminologyKnowledge of Joint Staff joint training internal procedures and staff operationsAbility to professionally interface, produce documentation for, provide presentations and speak with authority to senior military and other DoW personnel and organizationsAbility to edit and produce executive-level correspondence suitable for distribution to senior leadersTop Secret clearanceBachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in a warfighting operational role or 7+ years of experience in a warfighting operational role in lieu of a degreeNice If You Have: Experience with Joint Training, Joint Exercises, and the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC).Experience in performing, coordinating or delivering training to CCMD and Joint Task Force Headquarters staffsExperience with DoW Security Cooperation programs or Security Cooperation program managementKnowledge of Joint DoctrineClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
