Hi everyone! Since summer is coming soon, I thought I’d chat about vacations, and give you some good advice on how to treat your furry friends while you are on vacation. Rule #1: Don’t go on vacation. I don’t like it when you are off having fun and I’m stuck at home. Now, assuming many of you break the first rule, then I have some advice from my experience. First of all, I don’t like it when daddy goes on vacation. 
It can be for a day, or week, or year, or 15 minutes, I’m not really sure. Daddy always makes sure Soda and I have plenty to eat and drink. Some stranger comes by our apartment every once in a while to empty our kitty litter. I usually just hide under the bed until they leave because I don’t know them.
Sometimes Soda goes out into the living room to see what is going on. They try to play with me too, but I usually don’t care and I prefer it when they are gone. Daddy was recently gone for a few days and he thought he’d get clever and put a camera in the living room to watch Soda and me. Well, I’m smarter than that. Almost the whole time daddy was gone; I stayed out of the living room! 
Your cute kitty does not like to be checked up on! I had a great time knocking over a lot of things in the bathroom while daddy was away and couldn’t see me. I slept in the kitchen too and sometimes in the office nook. I just had to make sure I was on camera for a few minutes, so daddy believed I behaved. Smart kitty right? It was fun to still do things that daddy doesn’t know about, but will find out, so that way he will think twice about leaving again!
I will say, I did miss daddy sometimes, so once in a while I’d lay on the couch with Soda, or in the living room, but really I didn’t like having the camera on 24/7. Once daddy got home, I gave him a dirty look and ran under the bed for a few hours to punish daddy for leaving. That should do the trick. But, a couple hours later, I jumped up in daddy’s lap and said hello. I slept in the bedroom by daddy for a couple of days too! I guess I do miss him when he’s gone. But as for the camera, your furry friend here won that battle! We’ll see how it goes for the next trip. I heard daddy say he was going to get a couple cameras, and that they may have speakers on them. Hmm, that will probably really confuse me! But, don’t worry my friends, I’ll figure that out too!
